SEDAŞ Cyber Security Project

Under the Cyber Security Project delivered for SEDAŞ we renewed the protection, control and communication infrastructure of 152 substations. The existing SICAM TM CP-6014 and CPCX65 RTU systems were removed and replaced with Hitachi Energy RTU530 systems; panel installation, cabling, RTU configuration, commissioning of the communication infrastructure and SCADA integration were completed on site. The existing SIEMENS 7SJ62 protection relays were replaced with 610 ABB REX615 relays, parameterisation was carried out and IEC 61850 based communication integration was established. During commissioning, protection functions were verified with secondary injection test sets, trip tests were performed, and the correct transfer of all status, alarm and command signals to the SCADA system was confirmed through end-to-end field testing.
