SCADA & Substation Automation
RTU-based SCADA infrastructure for distribution and transformer substations: field signal acquisition, remote monitoring and control, and integration into the central SCADA system.
- SEDAŞ substations
- 439
- RTU530 migrations
- 152
- UEDAŞ substations (ongoing)
- 200
A distribution utility can only monitor and operate its network remotely if every circuit breaker, disconnector and protection relay in the field appears in the control centre with the correct signal. On substation automation projects we run the entire process, from engineering through commissioning.
We bring alarm, status, measurement and control signals from MV cells into SCADA via the RTU, design Local/Remote control scenarios and verify everything with end-to-end point-to-point (PtP) tests between field, RTU and SCADA. We apply this process substation by substation — across the 439 substations we completed on the SEDAŞ network and the 200 substations under way for UEDAŞ.
Capabilities
- Signal lists and RTU engineering
- Transfer of alarm, status, measurement and control signals from MV cells to SCADA
- Local/Remote control scenarios
- Migration of legacy RTU systems to new-generation RTUs
- Integration into the central SCADA system
- End-to-end PtP testing between field, RTU and SCADA
- Verification of SCADA displays against field data
